Pros

Manpower UK is a company with great vision offering our customers great solutions. The management style is open and transparent so everyone gets the opportunity to contribute their ideas to the running of the company. The people I work with are motivated and hardworking, but we also know how to have a good time! Personal development is viewed as really important - many of the training courses are industry leading and accredited.

Cons

The wider public still seem unaware of all the things that Manpowerd do, which can make life frustrating having to constantly explain to potential clients and candidates.

Pros

Excellent organisation to work for as the company has an ethos that the staff, the clients and the temporary employees are all critical parts of the service excellence model they deliver. They continually focus on the ever changing requirements in the world of work, and empower the staff to deliver the best service possible. Career progression and training support is excellent. the board also lead from the front and invest appropriately, even during the past few years of recession and uncertainty. 65 years of Global delivery has made them the market leader and a great place to work and feel rewarded as an employee.

Cons

Not necessarily the very best payers, but more than make up for it in career development, training, coaching, and loyalty to their staff.

Pros

I have worked for Manpower UK for 6 years, during that time I have had the opportunity to undertake a number of different roles and I have learnt a great deal about the company and the industry. Manpower invests in a great deal of internal training so people can perform well. The Board are friendly, approachable and keen to develop the organisation.

Cons

We do not shout out about how successful Manpower is. There can be a tendancy to be risk adverse.
