      Manpower India from the dumps and now back into the dumps!! :-(

      Pros

      Till June 2008, the most cohesive and performance oriented teams in the country (600+) consultants Highly Aspiration Team and learned superiors to lead the business.

      Cons

      Post 2008, The Most destructing management ever - the employee strength fell from 150 to 20 in 1.5 yrs (till 2010) in Mumbai. New Management that came in between 2007 to 2009 was highly revenue oriented as if one is selling sim cards - the dynamics of human capital business could never be understood

      Pros

      Great co-workers and corporate headquarters tried to provide tools to increase productivity. Benefit package was very competitive. Constantly changing atmosphere.

      Cons

      Local management given too much free authority to make decisions. Not concerned with staff's opinions or needs. Too many tasks ordered to be completed by corporate that took away from the productivity of the work day. Very disorganized.

      I miss my days at Manpower

      Pros

      When I left the company, I thought I was heading for a better opportunity with an organization that had as excellent a relationship with its employees as did Manpower. Although I am not unhappy, I must sincerely say that I will continue to have a real appreciation for all that Manpower did for me and my colleagues. Staff development is a key mission; fair treatment at all times was key; the feeling of being an important part of the corporate family was always evident.

      Cons

      The staffing business being unexpected demands. Customers needs occur at moments notice and the response needed in order to maintain customer satisfaction frequently goes beyond the "9 To 5" routine. But....I understand this is the business Manpower is in. I recommend others understand it also, before becoming a part of the Manpower Team.
