Strong values, forward thinking, strong company culture
Pros
After two years at Mapcom I've seen first hand the company's commitment to providing a workplace that embraces change and encourages growth as a company and for the team members. The Exec Team holds itself to high standard and that level of excellence is expected and reflected throughout the company. Strong team members are given the necessary tools and support to advance in their careers within the company. Not to mention the benefit of a casual dress code, incredible fellow workers, flexible schedule, snack kitchens, and beer kegs!
Cons
Although the company has made a drastic shift over the last few years it has weathered a few storms throughout the last half century and some of the scars are still visible. Cross functional alignment is still a work in progress but I have seen a vast improvement.
