Pros

You get to work with great people who are really motivated. Selling shoes can be a rewarding experience especially if you are passionate about running and want to share that passion with others.

Cons

Stores are often understaffed, especially on weekends, and management isn't responsive to concerns about the stores. Expect to work long hard hours if you work at Marathon.

Pros

It is something new everyday with new customers, and a bunch of great employees. It has been extremely fun working here because you never know what type of customer you are going to get and the other employees are amazing! It is really cool because the training is top of the line and the upper management truly cares about every one of the employees.

Cons

The only downside that I can think of is that if you ask for more hours of work then you might be asked to travel to a store that is not very close to you. This is not done on purpose, but sometimes is the only way to give you the hours that you want.

Flexible hours, Good Atmosphere, Great people. If you go in with a great attitude and are a valuable employee you're allowed a lot of autonomy in your job.

Cons

Not a massive ladder to climb, small headquarters so the outreach to stores can be less than desired.
