Pros

A fun, positive working environment. More free ice cream than I could deal with. The management was kind, but firm. It was a great summer job. Got to make ice cream from scratch, which was fun! Great for teenagers looking for their first job.

Cons

Not much career potential when you start from the bottom. Relatively low wages & almost nonexistent tips. Scooping ice cream for eight hours really beat up my wrists, which was rough as a musician.

Pros

tips and free ice cream from the manager is always a plus. flexible hours and good job for a high school kid.

Cons

Can be slow and boring. Sometimes you'll only have a shift of 2 or 3 hours and at minimum wage this can make it very inconvenient and not worth the drive for the $15 bucks.

Cons

Horrible cleaning, the place was disgusting no matter how hard we tried cleaning it Management is very unprofessional and even got my SSN wrong when giving me my W-2 I was asked by the assistant manager to STILL use strawberries that had mold on them (I threw them out of course, but GEEZ!) Hours were the worst next to minimum wage. The most hours I ever got was 11 in a week. I usually got 9 per week People wasted time on their phones in the back during non-rush-hour
