no overtime really, no rush jobs, stability of employment, time to learn, and there really isn't much more to add over that

Cons

Maybe you'll see this: lots of money out of your check to fund their pension, noise inside and outside, temperature issues, no effort at all by managers-none, over 2 hours per week circling parking garages, your opinion won't be heard, DBAs may be just gate keepers on productivity, having very little people skills as well as technical, but tolerated by managers, no training opportunities, no team atmosphere.

County benefits are good. Holidays off in most departments. Some helpful trainings. Eased into workload. State retirement system benefit. Not much else.

Cons

Low pay, inefficiency, very particular about not giving overtime. Job was not as described. Complete bait and switch. Low employee morale. High turnover.
