Pros
- Autonomy, senior management seem trusting of all of us in Europe - Opportunity to make a tangible difference and have this noticed (and rewarded) - Great people - the people who I work with regularly are, almost without exception, really smart, motivated and interesting and believe in Marin. This runs from the most junior team members all the way up to the Exec in San Fran. Furthermore they are all good people, which helps to make the office environments in Europe great places to come to work. - There is definitely an opportunity in the market for what Marin are aiming to achieve, the possible upsides are huge
Cons
- The challenges the company has faced in the last 12-18 mths has meant some good employees have left, hopefully we are coming out of that now, and we have replaced a number of them with equally strong people - Comms are probably a bit better in the US - sometimes in Europe we hear things second hand, which can lead to a case of "Chinese Whispers"
