Pros

None- Absolutely nothing. NO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!

Cons

They will fire you for no reason. You will drive around taking surveys and checking on their dying brands with absolutely no direction.

Worst Company In Beverage and CPG

Pros

Some brands with great legacy and potential

Cons

The only culture is one of mistrust and deceit. Employees live a constant state of fear and retailation from senior leadership. President is a clueless ego maniac who has no idea how to lead an organization. Lastly, pretty sure the positive reviews you read on glass door are seeded by the mike's HR group to prop up the image of the company as this is the most toxic and poorly mislead company in the beer business. Mike's is doing what they can to do damage control for all the employees who have recently departed or soon to be gone because of the horrible state of this company. Mike's is truly an awful place and its a shame because there is so much potential with the brands.

Pros

Talented, nice people (who made the same wrong move you will if you take a job with them). Lots of opportunity to grow and develop (but only if you are a suck up to some of the most unethical people in the industry). Edgy modern offices (in piece of crap buildings, with poor air conditioning and horrible bathrooms.) Opportunities for relocation (although they will fire you the minute they relocate your whole family to another country --- even senior executives). Free products (although the owner must never know that they are given out for free).

Cons

No work life balance. You must be available by cell 24/7, even on vacation. No strategy or direction. It changes daily. They have a young guy with no executive experience running Mike's in Chicago. They prey on the young and inexperienced, promising to grow their careers and the young and inexperienced don't know any better. A lot of chiefs and not enough indians. A lot of employees who remain because of golden handcuffs and their inability to get a job anywhere else that would offer them the amount of money or an equal position. As a result, a lot of people with misplaced power.
