      Philanthropic, great Co-CEOs, amazing history of M&A, solid stock

      Cons

      Too many layers of management, "Markel Style" is an amazing concept if it was acted upon (company does not disdain bureaucracy, is not fast to move, when some management is challenged or new ideas are posed it can be met with resistance), a lot of systems issues to be worked out to be able to harness value of data, lack of diversity - especially in senior management
