Pros
I worked Part time as a Demo Specialist/ Account Sales Rep., the rate was good. On average 20 dollars per hour. There is flexibility in the schedule. You usually work during the Christmas season on Saturdays and Sundays. Although it depends on the company that your representing. In most cases you get to keep the products that you demo. There are sales incentives and bonuses.
Cons
Part time hours, don't recruit internally enough. There is no real effort to integrate part time workers into full time positions. There is no consistent work outside of the Christmas season.
