You do not have to have a degree in paralegal studies to be a paralegal at this company
Flexible with you
Cons
Pay is not great and raises are far and few between
You will not get much praise for the work you do. The attorneys will get all of the praise and reward even though you do a lot for each case
Everyone is friendly. Great benefits. Management rewards you for hard work. It seems like we do something outside of the office every few weeks. Fun team building activities. They want you to be happy. Supervisors are always available and responsive.
The firm pays well, offers a lot of overtime, and does give ample PTO. They are very structured and provide organized training.
Cons
This job was definitely more of an insurance job than a law firm. As a paralegal you'll spend most of your time calling providers, taking to insurance companies, and getting yelled at by people who are just looking for easy money. There's no room for growth and there's not an opportunity to use your own knowledge and skills. Everything is systematic.
