When client projects end for various reasons, some of them unpredictably as is universally, we move those employees to “bench” and encourage them to utilize the time there to upskill themselves with courses and certifications offered for free via our partner platforms like Coursera. This ensures that they are equipped to take on other roles as in other projects that become available. Sometimes, depending on the requirement internally, some of our benched employees have also found a match in other departments.
