Engineering folks are technically quite adept Ok for early career to get some experience in the area
Cons
Poor culture Micromanagement Subpar pay Avoid if you have other options. In general not a lot of happy people with their jobs. Some functions/departments are so inefficient that you could feel you are working at dmv. Unnecessary micromanagement of non essential tasks for micromanagement sake. Right out of college, you can get experience of value. After that it’s a job, not a career
