Culture. Our company is great. Fun at work. I love these people. It is so nice to not dread going to work. It is almost weird loving it so much. We work hard and have fun doing it. We are a unique bunch. Marquette gives us the opportunity to actually do our jobs. They trust us and treat us like business owners. We are not Micro-managed, we are developed, we are trained, we are given the tools to be successful. Not that everyone will be successful. Which is also a great thing. We get rid of the dead wait. We don't keep people around that do not fit in the culture and can not handle the responsibility. How many companies do you know that the COO takes his frontline staff out for a day on the pontoon. That's Marquette. They truly live up to there mission to be the Best place to Work, Live, and Invest. In that order. Great pay too!

Cons

They expect a lot out of you. It is not for everyone.

Good benefits, fairly good pay and pleasant co-workers.

Cons

New CEO doesn't seem to recognize good talent. Properties are bought and sold with no regard to the future for long term employees. It's sad, considering we worked so long and hard to get nowhere. IF you want to advance with this company, work at the office AND at home....and say goodbye to a normal family life.

Pros

Probably the most open culture I have ever worked within. Very respectful of their employees. Marquette does an excellent job of providing positive feedback and provides a great deal of growth potential for those people with the right work ethic.

Cons

Since smaller than some other management companies ultimate career growth can be more limited.
