Pros

Exciting and challenging work, smart/driven employees, collaborative/down-to-earth environment, innovation is promoted, spends on tech, spends on personal development coaching, focus on employee welfare and happiness (especially office perks), pay is competitive and benefits are great, management encourages a good work/life balance.

Cons

Flat(ish) and lean structure means you have to be OK with a more indefinite career trajectory although they have shown dedication to promoting across teams. A few out-sized personalities.

They promote from within, everyone who works there is bright but with little ego, they are working on cutting edge research, growing AUM, opportunities to work in London office , beautiful new NYC office

Cons

No whiteboards, they are 20 years old so if you are looking to join a firm that is more of a start up then this is not for you
