Pros

Stock option ,medical care and personal time off. For new hired, company offer 15 days off + 2 floating holiday.

Cons

Employer expect employee to work over time. In general, the managers in Marvell tend to do micro-management. Didnt respect employee's personal life. The salary for the same position is much lower than other company. The company culture is not diversity at all. Most of the groups are all asians or all Indians.

Do not join as a designer, the cad tools in this company is horrible

Good people, coworkers are skilled, friendly and helpful

Cons

The CAD tools at this company is horrible. Virtuoso crashes daily or hourly. Simulations take hours to queue before running. Issues with tools and servers are never properly resolved. Additionally, projects are done by teams across multiple time zones in asia, america, and europe. Meetings can start on both 8AM and 8PM of the same day. This would be a great place if you join as a manager or a system level person, who does not have to work with the low level design tools and constantly filing tickets to fix them. Stay on projects that is limited to a single time zone.

Cons

Depends on the BU and department, the culture can be very bad, peope avoiding responsibility, incompetent manager makes talents go and still can stay for many years, no clear planning, layoff happening and some people hired and quickly let go after several months.
