      You will have a good growth on technical skills but not on your salary

      Pros

      As far as I have seen, Marvell has excellent engineers. This establishes a best working environment especially for fresh engineers to grow very quickly. All my colleagues who left Marvell turned out to be excellent team workers in other companies.

      Cons

      As said in pros, why now-best-employee left Marvell? Compensation. During more than 3 years in Marvell, the bonus target stated on the offer letter was never met. Also the way the corporate was managed was wasting the lives of Marvell's excellent engineer team. As far as I know, Marvell only has one or two HRs handling immigration stuff. Foreign employees may face a long waiting time for their green cards.

      * Reasonable work/life balance. * Reasonable opportunity to learn and grow.

      Cons

      * Projects gets dumped even with no reasonable explanation. * Looks like nepotism or emotion controls the higher management than reason. * Too little salary/profit sharing

      Pros

      The cafeteria has great food and is inexpensive.

      Cons

      All decisions are made at the top with little delegating down stream. Extremely poor communications within and between groups - you know just barely what you need to know. Hard to advance if you do not speak Mandarin.
