      Good place to learn new things but don't expect your effect is fairly recognized

      Pros

      Marvell has a strong engineering team. The technology is always leading edge. Inside your position, you can usually freely rotate to different role if you demonstrate the ability to handle it.

      Cons

      Too many projects going nowhere. There is no real marketing people out there, and there is no focus. The philosophy is to always to delivered a product that is much smaller, more power efficient AND with the best performance AND with ALL the features. Also too less attention is put on the verification side.

      some good engineers good cafe - holidays meals diversified culture nice new building fish in main lobby convenient location gym

      Cons

      some selfish management (top to middle) long working hours no care for disabled no career advancement no work guidance from management no more holiday party

      Pros

      design engineers get involved in wide variety of tasks. peers are technically sharp. benefits packages and compensation are pretty good.

      Cons

      startup mentality of just getting things out the door still persists. constant deadline pressure, sometimes unrealistic goals makes things stressful.
