      Good work life balance, but lots of middle level politics

      Pros

      Fun place to work and learn, competitive pay, very nice campus in Santa Clara. Work culture has changed in last two years with the new CEO Matthew Murphy. Bit somehow his own philosophy of openness and transparency vanished when he layoff engineers mostly above 40 years of age without any warning at all.

      Cons

      Growth is limited, some politics in medium management. Some deserving candidates are not promoted, and yes-men are encouraged. CEO is only focused on M&A, and Department level upper management is in constant flux. Management chain keeps on changing. Very few projects to work on.
