Pros

You will meet some of the best women in the world in Mary Kay. Classes and seminars are focused on building self esteem and strengthening women in every part of their lives, not just the business of being a beauty consultant

Cons

Your business is only going to grow if you put time into it. The women you meet along the way will change your life as much as you will change theirs. My favorite part of being a Mary Kay consultant is watching other women grow and change as you spend time with them.

Pros

You determine your success, your time frame, where you work, who you work with and The company is the most ethical company I have ever seen. They always take the high road. (This doe not include individuals in the company as Mary Kay can not control independent peoples' actions.

Cons

Difficult to turn off when your with friends and family. Some Directors push consutlants to purchae beyond what the consultant needs. (Although a full store is extremely benefical, you do not need 10,000 wholesale on your shelf.
