I started out as direct care Maryhaven let’s their staff move up positions over the years as long as you can do the job well. Yeah they have behaviors I saw a comment from Millerplace house I’m wondering if that was the house I worked in for years. But any behaviors those individuals have are no prob for me and I learned over the years how to not have those problems and how to redirect them when they get upset , I enjoyed the job and got paid well and I’m not sure how much they pay now but when I was there I got paid well and good benefits

Cons

Everyone thinks they can handle this type of job but it’s for patient and kind hearted enthusiastic ppl that can tolerate aggressive behaviors if needed and diffuse them, not everyone is equipped to do
