Pros

The things that I feel are maybe better than other utility contractors are: Diversity Flexibility Training They do actively work to repair inefficiencies, strive for constant improvement and developing a culture of safety.

Cons

1. Limited Internal Mobility – Employees have few opportunities to transfer between departments, with job openings primarily filled externally instead of offering alternatives to layoffs. 2. Premature Promotions – Rapid company growth in certain departments leads to promotions before employees experience & skill level would typically warrant, creating leadership and efficiency challenges. 3. Poor Cross-Department Collaboration – Departments that should be working closely together often struggle with teamwork. Instead of fostering cooperation, collaboration & support, time is frequently wasted on blame-shifting and finger-pointing. 4. Restricted Management Authority – Even top-performing employees struggle to receive raises or promotions when earned due to limited managerial discretion. 5. Overwork Culture – The company applies the same deadlines and workload expectations across all projects, regardless of differences in complexity, unique challenges or skill level of the employee. This creates an overwork culture that can lead to burnout and decreased efficiency over time. 6. Unfair Performance Expectations – All designers face the same KPIs regardless of experience or pay, leading to resentment when lower-paid employees are held to the same standards as those earning significantly more.
