      Decent benefits for the worker

      You are just a number. Worked here for 13 years and gave my life to them. Traveled across the country for them, leaving my wife and kids. Then got a Friday night call and was told I have 2 weeks notice! No severance no vacation time, no help of any kind with finding a new position in the company. Just told the project I was on didn't do good last year so they had to make cuts. Thay always said they needed to keep young talent. Guess not!

      There really aren't any pros for working with MasTec

      Cons

      Management is very arrogant. They promise you raises that never come through. Co-workers are very unhappy so you go home after work in a down mood. They are always hiring and firing. Just a really bad atmosphere. They use you up and then fire you. Co-workers are looking for other work.

      Great time working for mastec in 12 years I start as a tech and work my way up to Sm Hard work will pay off

      Cons

      Long days and travelled doing this job, money is great as a tech and I don't have any issues with my management salary Just part of the position
