      It's a job, and having a job beats NOT having a job.

      Cons

      Uptight , out of touch corporate atmosphere. Creativity is not encouraged. Bureaucracy is the standard. Management rarely listens to its employees.

      Cons

      Lack of communication between management and staff. Refusal to share positive feedback with employees. Extremely stressful working conditions. Power struggle between departments-too much politics getting in the way of medicine.

      Top, dedicated healthcare professionals delivering care, doing cutting edge research and teaching at hospitals. Provides a sense of mission to support these institutions.

      Cons

      Very low morale. A lot of bureaucracy, management well taken care of whether good managers or not, and do not value employees. Little growth opportunity generally and due to low turnover of managers.
