      Decent place to work but a lot like working for the government

      Pros

      ok work/life balance pay is average connected work is a nice perk smart people and very caring people at the hospitals

      Cons

      new employees coming in with the same amount of experience will make more than you raises are 2 percent, not in line with inflation and have been for years now if you live outside the city the commute in is one of the worst you will ever experience the current EPIC project has all IS teams overworked

      Mission - There is a real sense that you are part of something that makes a positive impact in Boston and on the world. Great People Innovative Hospitals Benefits Work-life Balance

      Cons

      Pay is terrible for the market. And it isn't going to get better. Low performers drag everyone down -- they don't let low performers go. Not a lot of room for advancement
