Pros

Great company to work for; Constant increases to salary; Upper management really does take employee issues into consideration

Cons

Hardly any. The phone calls are sometime annoying and vacation time has to be scheduled a year in advance.

Pros

you get a chance to own your own book of business, flexible work schedule. if you have prior connections it can help get you started. If you can get a nice pipeline up and running it can be fairly lucrative.

Cons

Pure commission so if you don't bring in business you don't get paid. Can be stressful and difficult when working colder markets. it it a shotgun approach to basically see what sticks,. The turnover in the industry is very high for this reason. Don't go in unless you're willing to work hard. And even then you still might not make it.

No significant cons to report on other than better defining career paths in IT (see advice to management)
