As an intern there is little to no guidance around the office. Your so called mentors are rarely around. The program is set up to just kind of throw you out there. If interns got to go on more meetings with higher ups then they would gain better experience overall. It is difficult in the intern position to want to give it your all when all of your contacts and relationships could be at stake.

They will tell you you will receive a base salary, but it is not true. I was very upset that I was not put on a salary as mentioned during the recruitment/interviewing process.
