Claims could be an awesome stepping stone in your career or it could even become your career!!
Cons
This is a hard job emotionally and you will be very busy almost every day. Company is moving to automate more and more functions, so any jobs within the company that don’t absolutely necessitate a human touch are expected to be offshored or done by bots/AI. Claims is so complex and requires extensive legal, medical and special investigative expertise so if you land a claim examiner job, you should be safe from layoffs. Good luck!
