      You get the MGH badge of BS "Benefits"

      Cons

      Working in the IT department you have a lot of "IT" personalities. Which means they have little to no personalities whatsoever. These people couldn't hold a conversation for longer than 20 seconds and it usually was based around "What are you having for lunch." Pay is terrible. You can go anywhere else and make anywhere from $10-20k more than you do at MGH. You get a mere 2% raise a year. Bonuses don't exist.

      Salary structure is very subjective and less objective. Entrepreneurship is nonexistence.

      World class institution. Democratic work principles

      Cons

      Despite it's historical standing and name recognition, the middle to top Management is power hungry at every avenue. Employees in clinical and staffing level get paid less than market salary and are squeezed in the name of excellency and being world class institute.

      Pros

      Manager was so amazing and compassionate/understanding towards us employees and is very competent in her role. The doctors here are super kind and great at what they do.

      Cons

      The "big higher-ups" of MGH/The Weight Center need to actually do something to make the necessary changes so that people are not miserable working here. Not to mention our salary was not the right compensation for the amount of work/expectations that are set on the employees.
