The people you work with makes this job fun. Lots of freedom, team work, and experience.

Cons

Poor leadership, knee jerk reaction to issues, dont learn from mistakes, and poor communication. No leadership in maintenence dept with no real goals or direction. Maintenence is ran by production managers for the most part.

As a supervisor you are considered exempt which means you do not get any type of benefit except getting to work 12 hours a day and Saturdays. There is no extra compensation except your salary.
