Pros

The engineering teams are welcoming, and there’s a sense of camaraderie among them. The teams embrace change and get excited about the impact they have on the end user.

Cons

It feels like priorities are always shifting. While teams are receptive to change, it can sometimes be exhausting to be pulled in many different directions. Teams also want to maintain support for the features they develop, but with the regular demand for something new, they feel as though they are just tossing features over the wall and rarely have the opportunity to improve what has already been created.

Pros

Product line, that is executed well, helps get life changing products to consumers quicker.

Cons

Leadership has been asleep at the wheel for decades, creating a well meaning but ultimately horrible product that is costing customers more money than its worth in errors. The application has corrupted customer data, lost it, been unresponsive in manufacturing lines for hours on end… but its still being pushed to customers who’s needs far exceed its capabilities. Company values “conformity over success”. There’s basically a status quo of needing to be some sort of delusional optimistic frat bro to be accepted by leadership… where leadership can’t even realize their products are the worst designed in all of SAAS. The staff that has been there for more than 3 or 4 years is generally unqualified for the roles they hold. Leadership is definitely the old school and ineffective.
