      Pros

      Challenging, interesting problems to solve. Collaborative work culture. Strong peer review process. Fun atmosphere inside and outside of office. Rapid advancement opportunities. Ownership of your own projects.

      Cons

      The large number of clients can result in frequent high stakes, time sensitive work. Bureaucratic struggles as a small company rapidly grows.

      Pros

      APT hires incredible people. The staff here is ridiculously intelligent, diverse and very easy to work with. The culture encourages intellectual honesty, frank communication, hard work and collaboration. The structure provides opportunities for career growth, professional mentorship, and a variety of ways to be involved with and contribute to the firm. I've never worked somewhere with so many good people at every level. From office administrator to CEO - this place is full of genuinely decent, incredibly talented people.

      Cons

      There is nothing laid back, easy or comfortable about being in an office full of over-achievers. You have to hussle here, or you stand out like a sore thumb. Expectations are high, there's a lot of work to be done, and everyone is 10 steps ahead already. This is a great place to grow and learn, but only if you're willing to put in best effort and bring your A-game every day.

      Pros

      Flexible schedules available for most people. Good pay and benefits at higher-level positions. Reasonably family-friendly if you push it. There are some very smart people there.

      Cons

      They will work you as hard as you let them. Processes are constantly changing and rarely documented. Outsourced service providers have spotty quality. Heavy politics and poor planning are the rule, not the exception.
