MasterCard is making efforts in portraying itself as aTechnology company. I work for MasterCard Technology india pvt ltd, so this review applies for only MasterCard India. What I have seen in last 1- 1.5 years is middle/top management will get good benefits, promotions but people who actually make things work/ develop products are ignored. Good developers are not appreciated. There are leaders, senior engineers, BL who work for a technology company but have no/very less technical knowledge (There are very few hand full good technical people in this company because of them the company is running ). Salary difference is a huge issue between employees. You can find two employees with same experience with salary difference of about 50-100%. These things have made a very negative impact on current employees. Quality of work depends on the team. Although there many cons these can be addressed by Management, but for that management have to be very aggressive.
