Pros

I've been at match for a couple years and I can honestly say that this is a great place to work. The people are bright, smart, and hard working. There is a true open door policy and you can walk into the CEO's office to say hi or ask a question. If you are looking for a place to grow your career and are willing to work hard, this is the place to be. People forgot that Match is a global company with offices around the world and it's cool to see opportunity all around the globe!

Cons

You can't bring your dog to work--but I wish we could! HR says they are working on it.

Pros

- Only worked there a few months

Cons

- Management was horrible - Mangers & senior directors would change campaigns & ads without telling me/team > then if these changes made the campaigns worse, we would be blamed for it - Everyone was super emotional about their ads/campaigns and took everything personally - No one listened to insight or new ideas - After three months of working there, I still had a manager check what I did every day - Had to put together a weekly report explaining EXACTLY what I did that week - INCREDIBLY MICROMANAGING - You will get 'in trouble' for increasing revenue in a way that your management didn't tell you to do. If you have any ideas on your own, you better keep them to yourself. "In Trouble" means that you will get a super passive aggressive email and told to shut down your campaigns and someone will take you through training again for how to market the way they want you to. - $40k UNDERPAID for position If you have any sort of self respect or intelligence, DO NOT work here. They will NOT give you independence. They will NOT allow you to work on anything on your own without someone looking over your shoulder. Respect yourself and work somewhere that actually appreciates you.
