Pros

Well established, high-quality products but still lots of room for growth. Very collaborative, team culture. Very competent and supportive colleagues. Sound business management practices have enabled the company to thrive and grow over 30+ years . Very good benefits. HR staff is great!

Cons

Team-oriented and collaborative culture comes from expectation to work at the office, so be prepared to commute.

Pros

Best work culture, great work life balance. The overall salary looks less as compared to some other giants in the Boston area but we get quarterly performance bonus which makes up for it. The bonus is quite sizable. The company is a billion-dollar software company with a startup culture so you get best of both worlds.

Cons

Work can get monotonous after a while. Not much avenues to explore specially for a software engineer.

-Vacation policy is based on tenure at MathWorks. Vacation benefits for mid-career move to MathWorks starts from beginner level. -No work from home policy, which is made very clear before you accept employment.
