Pros

friendly, supportive, learning culture; conservative and generous fiscally; extremely profitable

Cons

philosophy seems to be if it's not broken why fix it but risk missing out on innovation and creativity; some analysis paralysis works against implimentation of new ideas.

Pros

On top all the benefits/perks, the people are amazing. Everyone is brilliant and interested in the products. The structure of the company is so flat and flexible, compared to other corporations that I've worked at, that you feel comfortable talking with everyone. The Engineering Development Group is a great way to enter the company/workforce. Everyone in the department is right out of top tier grad schools and it's a pretty close knit group. It's a nice, easy transition from grad school to working (though with shorter hours). The flexibility of the EDG program is wonderful for those just starting out.

Cons

Career growth is limited for those technical people with Bachelor's as credentialism is high
