Pros

Allows Engineers to innovate and think out of the box. No stringent deadlines. Takes everyone's input for planning. Realistic estimates. Emphasizes Quality over Quantity.

Cons

Not being a very competitive deadline based environment, you need to compete with yourself and set your own challenging goals without falling into the comfort zone quagmire.

Pros

Very stable company. Not much pressure during the release cycle. Good perks: insurance, social activities, etc.

Cons

Most positions are boring, mostly coding in MATLAB. The development philosophy is slow, clanky, and overloaded with paperwork. Although some colleagues are great, the general atmosphere is quite dull.
