      The few experienced people left. Benifits aren't to bad... yet

      Management, Management, MANAGEMENT!!! they expect the Best but don't realize to get the best (or keep the best) YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!! instead they hire incompetent, unskilled sorry excuses of people it's like they intentionally look for the dumbest, laziest people they can find. I've put my time (years apon years) and watched this company suck the the life and everything good out of alot of great people and am looking to get out as soon as possible If you do come to work here DO NOT expect to get a raise ...EVER and lord help you if you have an accident you'll be looking for another job even if it wasn't your fault. But if your an incompetent, sorry excuse of a person or a lazy, souless person you have a great chance to be promoted to management.

      Pros

      Benefits were good. Pay was fair, higher than some other places. Good people to work with.

      Cons

      Too much safety BS, Safety more important than customers. Too many conference calls and the outside sales force is micromanaged excessively. . Quick to shift blame to someone else for accidents. Management too concerned about losing their bonus $$ if the don't achieve their safety goals. Accounts Receivable department is incompetent. Matheson destroyed the company that they purchased

      Good use of technology; company growing and adding new accounts

      Cons

      Management needs to take several courses in employee relations and motivation. Very much a zero tolerance environment where mistakes of any kind, even minor ones, are not tolerated. Result-- zero employee engagement. People just do their jobs and that is it. No one wants to move up in this company. If you want a paycheck this is a good job for it, but be ready for a pressure-cooker environment.
