Pros

I have enjoyed the flexible hours Mathnasium has. Since the center does not open until kids start getting out of school, this is a good job for high school and college students at school during the day. Everybody I've worked with is nice and I have had only good experiences with management.

Cons

Each instructor must be able to keep up with several kids at a time, which can be overwhelming. Kids are not held to a schedule or time they must come in, so there can be big rushes that overwhelm the center. The center I work at is very understaffed, so it can be intense. If you're saving up, it can be hard to get enough hours for the money you may want/need.

Pros

I loved working with the children. My employers were excellent and supportive of my efforts each day. I had fun with the other learning instructors with an environment of community in our office.

Cons

Not many to share! I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
