Very low pay and they look to cut corners on tutors at any chance they get.

No scheduling with individual students; just show up and tutor. Low stress job.

Cons

Very low pay for services, could make much more per hour tutoring privately. Management bends over backwards to please parents with services that go beyond what they pay for in a group tutoring setting. Often get sent home early (thus losing hours of pay) if the center isn't busy.

This company is very involved with the local schools. If you are looking for a second job to make ends meet this company is a good option. If you enjoy small children this is the perfect place.

Cons

If you have a thirst for tutoring upper mathematics this is not the place. If you have a bachelors or advanced degree in mathematics your talent may be wasted. Most of the work there involves doing simply multiplication, teaching fractions by cutting shapes, and using simple manipulative for elementary students.
