It's great working for a company where you feel like you can make an impact on the world. Computer vision is revolutionizing the way that industries work, and Matroid is at the forefront of computer vision. I like waking up every morning knowing that projects I'm working on have a positive impact on people's lives. For engineers, there is a lot of autonomy to work on passion products with quarterly hack weeks. For sales, there is autonomy to go after customers and verticals that will be positively impacted by computer vision. I also feel like I learn something new every day while working here. It's great to get that sense of self-improvement and development from my work situation. We also have a beautiful new office in downtown Palo Alto. Free lunches every day are also a nice perk.
