Pros

Working 8 hours is pretty standard and since you're not provided a laptop, you're not expected to take your work home and work over time. Gym, day care and pool for employees. Decent 3 week vacation after the first year passes.

Cons

Where do I even begin...here's a list (there could be more) - Terrible base salary with no annual raise or performance based raise. - They will make it sound like you're going to earn a lot from profit sharing and try to sell you the idea when you're given an offer. In reality however, the profits are not guaranteed every quarter - it's only guaranteed when the companies post the profits (which could take a while since it's privately owned). It could take over 10-12 months before you get your first profit share after you join - No growth. Most people there have been in the same positions for years (some over a decade). - No WiFi. Very strict internet usage policy for desktop worksations (no social media, email, YouTube etc). - No flex hours. Your work is tracked on 15 minute intervals. You can't use the recreational facilities during work hours. If you decide to go play pool outside your lunch window, you have to badge out and technically take off time to go have some fun. You're expected to make up for that time during the day. - Colleagues are unsupportive especially if they are not in your department. - NO vacation in the first year. - Since laptops are rarely provided, option to work from home is limited. - No team-building activities and extremely rare team lunches.

Pros

Nice campus, great work environment, good work life balance. Young spirit with young people who want to get things done or projects to move forward.

Cons

Losing competitiveness on the market, no clear future direction, low pay. The pyramid of management is a maximum of three levels: You, your boss and the president of the company. No room for advancement.
