Pros

Pay is fairly good, especially if you don't have a college degree (which you don't need for many jobs) Company provides lots of "fun" snacks, lunches and treats a couple times a month, they have free drinks (soda fountain) for staff working in the office. Some staff are allowed to partially work from home.

Cons

I have watched them pass over employees who apply for advanced positions and instead hire less qualified, but more attractive (and male) candidates. This has happened multiple times in just the year I've been employed. Their sick leave days are few and far between and employees are given a hard time if they use them (some supervisors). You only get 3 a year, or so. There is no reward for surpassing your peers and providing superior work. In the lab you can produce double everyone else and still have the same pay rate as those who barely make their quotas, for example. Annual raises are small.
