Pros

Any positives about working here are being eliminated, and management doesn’t care

Cons

It’s not Maui Jim Sunglasses anymore, Kering Eyewear bought us out and we’re sinking fast. Micromanaging to the point we are told what to say and how to say it to customers and accounts, all calls are ‘audited’ and graded, shifts are being eliminated along with shift differentials with little to no warning, forced overtime so numbers look better with no regard to employees life plans, mandatory Saturdays, you must work or are threatened with termination, excessive mandatory overtime during the week with no regards to home life, Customer Service Reps have had their personal items removed from their desks, now it’s a call center with first come first served desk choice, we don’t have our own desks, dictatorial management doesn’t care because they’re trying to save their own jobs all the way up. On the topic of management, no one knows who is in charge, all negative changes are blamed on new management, but no one knows who they are. They keep to the upper echelons, and don’t interact with the hourly workers

Pros

Coworkers are friendly and helpful.

Cons

Management lies straight to your face. They’ll tell you one thing to avoid conflict and then go back on it not even a day later & tell you they never said what they said. They’ll offer bonuses and differentials, change your shift constantly to accommodate, then deny they ever offered those perks to begin with. They pretend to listen and care, but will change nothing and have changed nothing when all of their employees are begging for change and are looking elsewhere for employement.
