      the reasons that a great at Maverik is the customers and some of the workers.

      Typical Retail, all about the Big Buck!

      Pros

      They have a great program for the Customer, Most customers Love Maverik for a fun and exciting shopping experience. Keeps them coming back for more. They try to make it fun place for the employees as well.

      Cons

      Employees soon realize however, Budgeted Labor Hours are few, Therefore All breaks are on the go,. No extra hours for training anyone. So usually they are thrown in, and it's sink or swim time. Very little hours to get everything done and others not giving their all each and everyday, Call off's, Backbiting and gossip leads to alot of Drama, "As The Maverik Turns!"

      Pros

      Fun place, nice bosses depending on the store, decent hours and pay. Nice co-workers (depending on store)

      Cons

      Overly picky about nearly everything, can't have free coffee and fountain refills or even have them at a discounted rate for being an employee. Short breaks make it hard to consume lunch. (think 10 minutes per hour). Lazy staff can make your shift harder when they don't do their assigned duties and they have often gone unpunished.
