Pros

You will gain experience and learn to despise private equity first hand, which I believe is a valuable lesson to learn.

Cons

You will never know a moment of rest with how much they pile on everyone's plate.

Pros

You get paid weekly, and health benefits (vision, dental, health) arent bad at all for a decent price.... This can be a longterm career especially if you don't have children or a significant other

Cons

Long hours and not a lot of room for pay increases (bonus structure can be skewed) horrible work life balance for an individual who is a parent and most definitely a single parent

Pros

They pay you on time; I guess that's worth something.

Cons

- No shop tools unless your store manager orders them (which comes out of his paycheck since it cuts into gross profit). - Expect a phone call from HR (they'll call the store at least) any time your punch times trigger some flag in their database. -No vacation time for your first year (and once you get it you can only use it on a full Sun-Sat work week). - Mandatory Saturdays. - Mandatory early first Saturdays of every month so you can review the process of putting wheels on a car...if you can't put wheels on a car and torque the lug nuts properly then this is not the job for you and you should be fired, so why should the people with common sense have to do this? - They don't even have uniform service anymore; you just get some low-quality polos and pants that you have to wash yourself.
