Unfair pay, discrimination, unprofessional owners, unfair practices amongst employees.The ice cream and menu are fantastic — no denying that. But behind the scenes, the owners display unfair practices toward employees and have shown prejudice and discrimination. After I raised concerns about being underpaid for two roles, my hours were cut in retaliation, and eventually, I was terminated instead of my pay being corrected. Management also avoided transparency, pushing for off-the-record conversations instead of providing proper HR channels or contact info. The matter has since been escalated to the EEOC. It’s disappointing because the product is great, but the company’s ethics and treatment of staff do not reflect the same quality.
