Pros

The premise of being more efficient than government is good. However, pay workers very little and top management gets paid way too much. Can learn how to do things if you are willing. Have to be a self-starter because good training is rare. Trainers in the Training Department are very good but not given the tools from the other departments to train correctly.

Cons

Depending on where you work, you could have great work-life balance or none at all. Overwork the good people and let top management take vacations, work from home, never show up or only show up for a portion of the day. You must be able to ignore what management is doing or you'll go crazy.

Pros

None. Do not join this company unless you are out of your last option.

Cons

The company culture consists of extremely poor management, too much cronyism, favoritism, slavery and a QA group that is loaded with distrust and of back stabbers. The managers are not capable of anything and they are a good bunch of egoistic puppets who is powerless. The company's building is getting leased out due to huge loss because of poor decisions and employees are getting laid off. HR department is useless and won't take any action against people who have 100's of complaints against them. It is not a good place for professionals. Run....

Pros

The company is committed to promoting from within. The company is operating on the base of projects that means that opportunity come up pretty often - if you are willing to relocate

Cons

Very little training support after a promotion, projects generally have a chaotic dynamic to it. In general the staff is underpaid and overpaid for the the work they are doing. As you get higher in the chain of command the opportunities for promotion dwindle
