Pros

If your just starting out MAXIMUS is great place to work. They do provide a relaxed atmosphere and a steady reliable job. There is allot of work and your always busy.

Cons

If your an expierenced profesional and have even worked at the company for a number of years the pay is often lower than your peers at other companys. Your bonus or raise is often based off of who you know or are with in the company. Most of operations are very rarely compensated for their many hours and work they put in and as I said you are always busy. Also upper managment often promotes with in their own inner circle and rarely promotes anyone from operations. Most mangment has little to no hands on expeirence and are typically hired becasue they come cheap or are hired by someone they know.

Pros

Co-workers were awsome. Direct Supervisor was great--Downtown Boston location had great views and was right next to macys. Supervisers make the environment not upper managment.

Cons

Felt like there was no room for advancement -upper management would tell you one thing and do another--noone helped me try to transfer when I moved across the country--took away breaks
