Pros

I was lucky to work on a very supportive and good team, the Product Team within ConnectionPoint, but that team got dismantled. The company culture is great and it truly offers unlimited time off, paid time off, great benefits, and great 401k. I enjoyed working in a fully remote position with my team. My department supported 100% work-life balance.

Cons

Once you work for them and are going through a mass layoff, you cannot work for them for at least 3 years after the layoff. HR forgot to tell us that. Also, no one tells you that you get laid off until the very last moment, so communication is very bad when it comes to bad news.

Pros

Talented leaders, good solutions, focus on commitments to clients, supportive sales & capture functions, good risk management

Cons

Change is needed to propel new business but the direction is unclear. Changes in government programs has the company scrambling to find its identity and focus.

Misleading

Pros

Working from home is the only perk

Cons

They promote an employee referral bonus and other incentives which are very misleading. You qualify for the referral bonus after you complete the training OR pass probation. What they don’t mention is that you can’t pass probation (which is 6 months long) unless you complete the training (which takes forever) AND are doing a minimum of 5 assessments per day (which no newly trained assessor is doing for a long time). So they hide loads of rules which allow them to extend everyone’s probation and not pay the bonus. It’s incredibly sneaky and dishonest. Not many people would take this job if they knew they made it so difficult to pass probation and get employment rights
